All students attending New Student Convocation are required to reserve tickets for themselves and up to eight named guests (children under 2 years of age do not need a ticket to attend). These tickets are free of charge and must be reserved in advance.

Students must use their USC email account to access tickets through the USC Ticket Office: My Account. Once the mobile tickets are downloaded, students are responsible for distributing them to their named guests.

How to Access and Manage Your Tickets:

  • Visit My Account to view, download and transfer your Convocation event tickets.
  • Sign in using your USC email address and follow the prompts to log in with your password or a one-time code.
  • Locate your tickets under “My Upcoming Events.”
  • Download the tickets you intend to use
  • Transfer tickets to name guests by entering their name and email or mobile phone. Note: Tickets cannot be transferred to another student.
  • Ensure each guest accepts their transferred ticket and creates an account to complete the transfer.

Each ticket is individually barcoded and required for admission. For detailed instructions on downloading, transferring, and using your tickets, refer to the USC Mobile Ticketing Guide.

Additional Ticketing Information:

Mobile Tickets Required: All attendees, including students and their named guests, must present mobile tickets for scanning upon entry. Please ensure you have your mobile device with you, as printed versions will not be accepted.

Advance Download Recommended: Download your tickets before arriving on campus to avoid potential connectivity issues, as on-campus Wi-Fi may be limited due to the large crowd.

Ticketing Assistance: For ticket-related inquiries, contact the USC Ticket Office between the hours of 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. PST, Monday-Friday at (213) 740-4672 (GOSC) and press 4, or by emailing uscto@usc.edu. You can also visit the Galen Center Box Office located at the corner of Jefferson Blvd. and Figueroa St.

Requesting Additional Tickets: If you require more than the eight guest tickets allocated to your USC Ticketing account, you may submit a request using the Additional Ticket Request Form. Please note that all requests will be reviewed, and accommodations will be made as space allows.

We look forward to welcoming you to the New Student Convocation!
