There is no Convocation parking at the USC Village. The USC Village structure is for retail use only, and retail guests will be subject to current parking rates and fees.

Parking is extremely limited on campus and due to the large crowds tends to fill up quickly. Off-campus structures are recommended. Rideshare or public transportation is highly encouraged.

Campus and campus-adjacent parking options include Royal St. Parking Structure (ADA Accessible), Figueroa St. Structure, Flower St. Structure and the USC Shrine Structure. The Grand Ave. Parking Structure (formerly UPX) on the corner of Jefferson Blvd. and Grand Ave. is also available.

USC Transportation will direct you to the next gate or to the off-campus facilities if the structures are full.

By Rideshare Service

For your convenience and to streamline traffic flow during Convocation, designated pick-up and drop-off zones have been arranged for your preferred rideshare service, whether it’s Lyft, Uber or another provider. These zones are conveniently located throughout University Park Campus.

By Train

The Metro Expo Line is the best option to avoid traffic and congestion, and this is highly recommended. It will be running on its usual schedule and stops immediately south of campus at Exposition Blvd. and Trousdale.

For public transportation to USC, LA Metro will be running trains all day for Convocation attendees to use. Fares are sold on TAP cards, so you’ll need to buy them at ticket vending machines or from a Metro representative. For more help with planning your trip to USC via Metro, use the handy LA Metro trip planner.

Tip: Load your TAP card in advance to avoid waiting in line on the day of the event.

Off-Campus Transportation

Trams travel between campus and several satellite locations. Please note there is no scheduled tram service from any hotel in downtown Los Angeles. Please visit the USC Transportation website for the schedule.

Union Station

USC offers limited bus service between Union Station (Patsaouras Transit Plaza, Berth/Station #4) and campus (Jefferson Blvd. at Hoover St.). LA Metro will be running trains all day for Convocation attendees to use. Fares are sold on TAP cards, so you’ll need to buy them at ticket vending machines or from a Metro representative.
